The next Assassins Creed Game: Assassins Creed Mirage will sell out on launch next year. Probably to be released in October/November going by the last launch. Assassins Creed: Code Red(The one based in Japan)Will most likely only launch early 2024. This being said, I do hope Assassins Creed doesn't move on the yearly release schedule that the Call of Duty titles have. Sooner or later, fatigue sets in or creativity runs out.
I'm going to posit Ubisoft Plus will be cancelled sooner rather than later(but glad to be proven wrong). I'm not entirely sure people need another subscription service to add on to their already existing budgeoning subscription service wallet. While it does seem targeted at PC & Mobile gamers I doubt that market is as large as the console market. It also does seem to be targeted at cloud gaming capable devices(cell phones/tablets/laptops, etc). However, this would indicate aiming for mass market appeal in places such as India. Even with the best networks, even first world countries struggle to have meaningful sustainable gaming over the cloud because of the almost insurmountable latency problems. Also, Data costs. Not a good investment in my opinion. But, I will be glad to be proven wrong.
Its really cool to hear that Ubisoft mobile games that are free to play will not feature micro-transactions. However, not sure how they plan on recouping their investment. Micro-transactiosn have been the bread and butter of the mobile gaming space and have netted companies billions of dollars in revenue each year.
I'm not sure about the Netflix adaptation of Assassins Creed. This being said, the last big screen adaptation of the was a disaster. I do hope this rendtion is not ruined by wokeness.
