Earlier today, Time magazine published an article about self professed "non binary and asexual" author Maia Kobabe's legal victory against a lawsuit filed against her book "Gender Queer." Naturally, this is going down on the interwebs as well as it usually does. Some internauters are calling out what they percieve to be the abject insanity of theories of gender fluidity. A recent ruling by a Virginia court has found that the book doesn't meet the current standard of obsenity lawas in Virginia and is not to be labelled obscene and is suitable for sales to minors, per the Time magazine piece.
While many ridicule the use of made up pronouns and made up genders, one fact still remains: This authors book is permitted to be sold to minors even though by her admission it does contain graphic depictions of sexual activity.
As many are now realising, children are no longer a protected class and it does seem that there are some who would prey on their innocence and impressionability with a free pass from the media. Twitter mobs carry out cancellation runs against even "allied" woke folk such as British author J.K. Rowling. Increasingly, corporations are being pressured into banning people and products that challenge these theories. The cries of the mobs sadly a wake for sanity.
